Sephora Chicago
I'm now back home from being in Chicago for a few days. It was work-related, but there was also some time to play. I honestly haven't done a lot of shopping the last several months as I've been adjusting to a new job and my daughter graduating from high school. Ordering on-line and grabbing what I need at the drugstore has just been a lot more convenient these days.
I had not stepped into a Sephora store in several months, so I really enjoyed browsing through two of them that were very close by my hotel. There are so many products I want to try, but I need to stick to my drugstore budget for a while.
I only picked up 2 things from Sephora: a Baby Z Palette and a Beauty Blendercleanser Solid. These are two things I always need being a freelance makeup artist. I've tried a lot of different cleansers to wash my beauty blenders and makeup brushes, but nothing has come close to the solid cleanser. The Z Palette is a great size and only cost me $10. I'm not sure that you can purchase just the palette on-line because as I was looking for a link to include in this post, I could only find their Colorful Face Powder Customizable Palette. I own 3 of the extra large ones (for my professional makeup kit) and a mini 9-pan palette so this particular size is perfect for travel. It's large enough so that I can place a variety of both eyeshadows, blushes and contour/highlighting shades.
