Wet n Wild MegaLast Lipstick vs. Velvet Matte Lipcolor
I recently posted that I purchased a couple of lip products from Wet n Wild while I was in Chicago. The first product is the MegaLast Lipstick in Bare it All. It's a beautiful nude color that applies so smoothly with a matte finish. I believe I paid approximately $2 for this product, so great price for a great lipcolor. The only negative thing I really have to say is that you can't twist the product down so you do have to be very careful when placing the cap back on the top because you can easily smash into it if you're not paying close attention.
The other product, Velvet Matte Lipcolor Crayon in Hickory Smoked, I was not so impressed with because the formula applied really patchy. I took some pictures including the colors swatched side by side. On the left is the lip crayon which I had to swipe back and forth at least 5 to 7 times, whereas the lipstick is just one to two swipes. You can see that the lipstick color is much smoother and pigmented. The lip crayon has a very uneven formula so I feel like I can't use it as a stand alone product. I use it more as a liner after I apply the lipstick all over my lips. The two products used together works okay for me, but I don't recommend the lip crayon to be used by itself if you have drier lips or if you're looking for a matte lip product to use alone.
