L'OREAL True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation and Super Blendable Powder
Walgreens was having a couple of promos that I had to take advantage of: L'oreal cosmetics was buy one, get one 50% off AND there was a $2 off in-store coupon for the True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation. I've been using this foundation for about 2 months now and absolutely love it which is why I decided to take advantage of the promos and purchase a back up. The foundation is a light to medium coverage (my color is N 3.5), and it does really leave your skin looking fresh and glowy. This formula may not work for those of you with very oily skin. My skin type is combination: normal and slightly oily during the summer months and normal and dry during the winter months. I have not used that many drugstore foundations, and the only other foundation that I will be on the look for is one that is full coverage. When I find one, I will blog about it.
The L'oreal Super Blendable True Match Powder is a product that I have been using for a couple of years. This is also another drugstore favorite. My MAC color range is an NC 25 - NC 30, and my True Match powder color is N4. The only MAC powder that I have been using for several years is the Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium. Honestly, the Loreal True Match powder works much better for me and is also a perfect color match. The main reason I continue to use some select MAC products is because I do have a Pro Discount as a freelance makeup artist so I don't really pay much more than drugstore prices for most MAC makeup and skincare products. However, I do not use any MAC foundations because I never found a formula that I really liked.
